About Tree of Life International Prayer & Praise Center

Church History

Tree of Life was birthed in our spirits in 1992. I saw a place where there were multiplied ethnic groups worshipping Jesus as one man. Ministry teams were sent and then returning from the nations of the world and jubilantly telling the congregation all that God did in the nations.

Beginning in about 2001, we, Pastors Charles and Liz, were Home Group leaders in a major church in Austin for 3 years. During that time the Lord was training and preparing us to begin our own work.

God had knit our hearts together with Apostle Mickey and Prophetess Sandie Freed of Christian International, www.zionministries.us after graduating from their School of the Prophets in Bedford, Texas in 2004. Through this relationship we became licensed and ultimately ordained with Christian International with the Freed's being our spiritual covering.

At the appointed time, in September, 2004 Tree of Life was birthed in Austin, Texas at our Anderson Mill location. Since then we have grown as congregation and expanded into our current 5400 Square foot facility. We have hosted numerous Christian International seminars and traveled internationally in such nations as Germany and Africa preaching the Gospel and holding Apostolic and Prophetic meetings. We are thankful for all that the Lord has done and we look forward to what He is doing in His City-wide church in Austin, Texas.

Tree of Life is privileged to be in partnership with several corporations through our (WISE - Workplace Intercessory Support and Empowerment) ministry to provide corporate intercession and strategic prophetic ministry to employees and leaders within these companies.
